Growing Community Support Through the Center of Hope Renovation

The Greenville Health Authority awarded a 2024 Healthy Greenville grant of $500,000 to The Salvation Army to support the renovation of its Center of Hope Social Services Campus. This revitalized facility will become a comprehensive resource hub, offering case management, diversion programs, emergency shelter, transitional housing, basic needs support, and improved access to healthcare. By helping stabilize individuals during times of crisis, the Center of Hope empowers them to pursue long-term stability, upward mobility, and successful reintegration into the community.

Serving Greenville, Pickens, and Oconee Counties, The Salvation Army provides essential programs for individuals and families—including youth enrichment, safe shelter for men, women, and children, hot meals, food boxes, spiritual care, financial assistance, disaster response, Family Stores, seasonal programs, the Women’s Auxiliary, and the vibrant Kroc Community Center. Their impact reaches thousands each year.
