Creating Pathways to Stability for Former Foster Youth

Fostering Great Ideas has been awarded a 2024 Healthy Greenville Grant of $250,000 to support its Aspire program, which empowers youth and young adults transitioning out of foster care. Aspire helps participants move beyond the structure of state-level care and into a supportive, local community environment where they can grow, heal, and build meaningful connections.

Through guidance from executive life coaches and dedicated community volunteers, participants develop critical skills in mental and emotional stability, career readiness, educational achievement, financial literacy, housing security, and purposeful living.

Fostering Great Ideas strengthens stability for children and families impacted by foster care through innovative programs and relationship-centered support. They envision a world where every child thrives—equipped with hope, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging.
