Silvia is an executive leader with more than 25 years of experience and currently serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Southern First Bank in Greenville, South Carolina. She is also the co-founder of Leader Design Co, Enneagram Coaching. While her expertise spans talent and human resources across multiple industries—including finance, manufacturing, and healthcare—Silvia is best known as a strategic leader who designs best-in-class work environments that drive excellence, foster collaborative change, and encourage creativity.
Silvia earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University, followed by a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business. Committed to continuous learning and professional growth, she holds both the SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications.
Outside of work, Silvia values time with her teenage daughters. She finds balance and renewal through yoga, dance, and running, and is deeply committed to serving her family, friends, and community.
